What is Lidocaine HCl?
First,Lidocaine HCl is a versatile local anesthetic and antiarrhythmic drug. It is employed for infiltration anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, surface anesthesia (including mucosal anesthesia during thoracic or abdominal surgeries), and nerve conduction block.

With increased dosages, both its effectiveness and toxicity escalate. At sub-poisoning plasma concentrations, it even demonstrates an anti-convulsive effect.
